Christmas isn’t about keeping distance from those who are different or difficult—it’s about showing up like God showed up for us. When Jesus came, He broke down the “complicated” and “uncomfortable” walls choosing to be with us in all our mess.  It’s the gift that continues to benefit us, and if we are following Jesus, should benefit everyone around us.
