Helping people heal

From the very beginning RockPointe Church has been all about helping people heal from life’s hurts. The reality is: everybody hurts, everybody struggles, no matter how “put together” they may look. Wherever you’ve been or whatever you’ve done, God has a plan for you and He loves you.

In some ways it has been a hard year for our state, for our country, for our world.

People right here in our church and community are carrying these things through the holiday season. One less person at the table. Less under the tree. Loneliness. Fear. Sickness. Homelessness. This holiday season will not be what we expected.

At the same time, Jesus came in an unexpected way to bring us unexpected hope in the middle of our mess.

What if His church right here in Leander and Liberty Hill could bring some unexpected good to our hurting communities or to those who just deserve a big “Thank You”?

It's not about the bread and wine; it's about the body and blood of Jesus.

It's not about the ritual or the method; it's about listening to Jesus and doing what He says.

Communion is not an obligation, but a celebration.

Communion celebrates the Gospel: Jesus was broken for us so that we can be fixed by Him.

Celebrating communion marks the story of Jesus, how He gave Himself completely to give us a better life, a new start, and a fresh relationship with God (1 Peter 3:18).  It's not about a ritual to revere, but a person to worship.  Jesus is less concerned about the method of celebrating communion and more concerned that we celebrate it.

As often as we remember Jesus, we should celebrate Jesus.

Come celebrate together

Sunday December 31 at 9:30 a.m. in Liberty Hill and 10:30 a.m. in Leander

Preschool and K-3rd Grade Classes will be open.

4th & 5th grade students will join in the service.

Why does it seem like I struggle to move forward in so many areas of my life? Jesus came to offer us healing and change but sometimes knowing what it looks like to follow Him can be confusing. MVMNT is not just a message series, it’s a road map to help us discover ways to keep moving forward as followers of Jesus.
